Continuous Improvement training sessions often fail to connect theory with real-world implementation. Then there’s the whole tangible outcomes issue. And if you can deliver on practical application and outcomes—you may still be up against learner engagement. The good news is there’s an approach to help you tackle all of it.
Toyota Veteran Jenn Tankanow brought her Lean sensibility to bear while building an effective problem-solving workshop for a healthcare client. Not only was it a huge success, but the method works everywhere. Jenn devised a way to combine her own wins and struggles into an interactive way of teaching such that learners guide themselves and immediately apply their learnings.
Check out this video, “How to Bring PDCA to Any Industry and Win Converts!” Jenn walks through her fill-in-the-blank workbook method which solicited feedback such as, “I've been to these types of training so many times, this is the first one where we are leaving with a plan and we had fun learning too!"
